Description: IT-Updates is an opt-in mailing list for staff and students at Newcastle University.

The list is limited to members with a Newcastle University IT account and only the IT Service Desk can send email to the list.
In the event of a major IT issue, we may use this list to alert customers and signpost them to our news webpages for further updates.

New regular staff IT accounts created by the Service Desk will automatically be added to the list.
Members of the list can opt out of the list at any time by sending an email to sympa@newcastle.ac.uk containing the following text in the body of the email:

unsubscribe it-updates
quit
